A common drawback that customers experience however, is that Wi-Fi has limitations with range and speed.  The negative aspect of Wi-Fi is that it is not as secure as ethernet or “wired” network cabling, and not recommended for certain businesses where extra security & HIPAA Certification is required.

Wired Ethernet / Network Cabling

 

Ethernet or “Wired” network cabling for home or business provides the fastest most reliable connection for your devices that are able to be connected. A wired ethernet connection is also the most secure method of connectivity. Having a wired connection straight to your modem or switch can optimize the speed of your home or business network for improved movie streaming, gaming, file transfer, and provide the BEST all-around experience for your wired devices on the internet.

Starlink Installation Services

INSTALLATION OPTIONS

  • Standard installation includes mounting the dish onto a mount, which can then be attached to the Home’s Facia Board or a Wall.

  • There are other mounting options available including a pole or J-Mount, and other custom solutions. 

  • Wiring is generally ran through an exterior wall, and the hole is sealed with silicon.

    • Standard Installation Charge for Gen3: $549-

    • Running the cable through the attic, or hiding the cable through an inside wall (aka a Wall Fish) is additional, and NOT included with basic installation. (Call for details)  

PRE-INSTALLATION

  • Purchase your equipment & mount directly through Starlink if possible.

  • You can also order the correct mount at this time. (Gen3 only comes with a kickstand for ground usage) A mount will be needed when attaching to a building.

  • If your satellite will be more than 50’ away from your modem, please consider purchasing the 150ft cable from Starlink. It is available in the Starlink SHOP.

Please Note:

  • Starlink (or ANY brand of satellite services) often have issues when placed in a heavily wooded area. Trees directly surrounding the building may often times cause obstructions that are out of our control making the services unstable or unusable.

How long does the installation take?

  • From beginning to end the average Starlink satellite installation takes between 2 to 4 hours depending on the cable route that you wish to take.  Regardless of the time it takes, it’s still $549 for Basic installation in most cases.

  • We service Riverside, San Bernardino & Orange counties, as well as some areas of Imperial & San Diego Counties.
