Phone Jack Installation

We can install or upgrade the telephone lines in your home or business. We can also help you determine what type of phone installation will work best for your business, and custom wire the jacks as needed for multiple line phones. We also wire for telephone systems.

NOTE: Telephone lines come in analog, known as “POTS - Plain Old Telephone Service” which the phone signal travel over the wires from the phone company as it has for over 120+ years, or as a digital circuit known as ”VOIP” (a modern, more cost-effective version that is produced through your “ISP” or internet service providers modem, essentially running through your home or business internet service’s network.

If you or a loved one has medical issues, and you have troubles at times with your internet services staying on 24/7 then it’s always a good idea to keep a wired POTS or “Plain Old Telephone Service” line for emergencies. This way you're always connected to Medical/Fire/Police assistance regardless of whether your home or business has power. When ordering new service from your phone provider, ask them which service they are installing.

In many instances we recommend using an analog “POTS” service through your local phone company, along with always having a “non-cordless” phone handy that will work when the power is off. This type of service also works best with medical alert devices, fax machines, as well as burglar alarm systems.

An option you may wish to think about is to purchase an uninterrupted power supply or “UPS” for your home or business. Especially when using digital “VOIP” services. This will ensure that the power to your modem that produces your dial tone is always on even in a power failure. You can even plug in your cordless phone or smartphone into it to charge during these times with no power at your home or business.
